Cathy Hope, played by Gabrielle Dowling, is on the verge of becoming a killer as she spirals out of control once again. This year, the troubled teen, who was diagnosed with Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in 2023, finds herself caught up in a series of dangerous events that will test her resilience and potentially have devastating consequences.
Despite her previous struggles with PMDD, Cathy is determined to celebrate the New Year with her friends. Alongside her twin brother Heath, played by Sebastian Dowling, Cathy hatches a plan to attend a party in Hotten on New Year's Eve, all without their father Bob's knowledge.
While the adults are preoccupied with a party at the B&B, Cathy, along with Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes) and Heath, takes a joyride in Wendy Posner's car. As the adrenaline and excitement build, Cathy's driving becomes increasingly reckless, endangering the lives of everyone in the car and those on the road.
A Race Against Time to Find the Teenagers Before It's Too Late
As the events unfold, panic ensues among the adults at the party when they realize the young group has gone missing. Bob, alarmed by the absence of Wendy's car, sets out to find them. April Windsor, played by Amelia Flanagan, reveals the truth about the joyride, prompting Wendy to join the frantic search for the teenagers in Hotten.
Meanwhile, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is torn between her duties at the party and the news that the kids have gone joyriding. As the tension rises and time runs out, the village is left wondering if they will find the youngsters before tragedy strikes.
