THE general manager of the Diablo series has confirmed that there are ‘no plans’ to bring Diablo 4 to Xbox Game Pass.

Diablo 4 is the long-awaited return to the series that saw its last new entry 10 years ago in 2012.

Diablo 4 is coming this June.

Fans have been excited to take part in the upcoming beta test that will be available to players around the world.

In February, developer Blizzard announced that there would be two beta weekends for players to join.

Those who have pre-ordered Diablo 4 will be able to begin playing from March 17 until March 19.

However, everyone is welcome to join the second weekend from March 24 to March 26, even those who participated on the first weekend.

Beta players will be able to try out the same section of the game that reviewers saw back in December.

This includes the prologue and Act 1 with a level cap of 25.

Diablo 4’s full release is scheduled for Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, on June 6, 2023.

As it is releasing for Xbox consoles, many players were curious if the game would be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.

However, this will not be the case as Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson confirmed on Twitter.

He wrote: “It’s awesome seeing the excitement around the Diablo 4 beta, and our Wolf Pack puppy!

“We’ve been getting some questions about D4 on Game Pass and I want to let you know we have no plans for that.

“See you in sanctuary during the beta early access weekend starting on March 17!”

This means that those who want to play Diablo 4 as it releases will have to purchase it.
