January Gaming Releases

LAST year was one of the best years ever for gaming, but 2024 is also starting out strong. There are a number of amazing gaming releases in January, and you can play one a week before release for free.

A New Adventure in the Prince of Persia Series

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the first new game in the series since 2013. While a remake of the most popular game in the series, The Sands of Time, still doesn’t have a release date, The Lost Crown is a different take on the Prince of Persia. Returning back to the 2D platforming roots of the series, The Lost Crown is a sprawling metroidvania.

Play the Demo or Get Early Access

If you want to try out Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown a week before release, there is a great opportunity for all gamers. From Thursday, January 11, 2024, people will be able to pick up The Lost Crown a week before it’s released on January 18. A demo will launch, giving players access to a limited area and offering a taste of what the game has in store for fans. However, people will also be able to gain full access to The Lost Crown three days before it’s released, starting on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Early Access for Ubisoft+ Subscribers

Players who have a Ubisoft+ subscription will be able to gain early access to The Lost Crown. If you have never signed up for Ubisoft+ before, you will also have access to a free trial period. This free trial period can be used to play The Lost Crown early without any extra cost.
