Nintendo Switch Online Offers More Free Games

Nintendo has added three new games to its Nintendo Switch Online service, allowing owners to play them for free. This includes a game from the popular Castlevania series that hasn't been re-released in many years.

Castlevania Legends: A Blast from the Past

The first game being added to the service is Castlevania Legends, originally released for the Game Boy. Players take on the role of Sonia Belmont, earning Soul Weapons for each boss defeated, allowing her to progress through the castle.

The Mysterious Murasame Castle and Devil World

The other two games added to the service are from the original Nintendo Entertainment System. The Mysterious Murasame Castle, only released in the West later as part of the 3DS library, is often compared to the original Legend of Zelda. In Devil World, players navigate a maze and complete challenges as the dragon character Tamagon.

F-Zero 99 Gets an Upgrade

Additionally, the free-to-play battle royale version of F-Zero, F-Zero 99, has received a free upgrade. Three new tracks have been added to the game, including Mute City 3, Fire Field, and Red Canyon 2.

How to Access the Games

To access these games, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers need to download the Game Boy or NES app from the eShop. From there, they can select the game they wish to play.
