KELLY Brook has ‘exposed’ her famous pal after convincing herself that she is Scissors on The Masked Dancer.
Kelly, 42, announced her theory live on the radio before admitting she had even confronted her showbiz friend about it over text.
After trawling through fan forums, the DJ and model believes Scissors is her Heart FM co-star Ashley Roberts.
And the Pussycat Doll, who works on the station’s Breakfast Show, has done nothing to throw Kelly off the scent.
Chatting to her co-star JK (Jason King), Kelly said: “I’ve text [Ashley] and said ‘Hello Scissors’ and she’s just responded with LOL.
“LOL. She knows what I’m talking about!”
Kelly also explained how she had come to the conclusion that Scissors is her good pal Ashley, 40.
She said: “I’ve been on all the forums. I’ve looked into the clues.
“The first clue – a cereal bowl. She works on The Breakfast Show.
“Apparently Scissors has done her fair share of touring. Ashley Roberts was a Pussycat Doll and they’ve done a lot of touring.
“Another one is a line said during one of the VTs. It says, ‘These peepers are feline like they could use 40 winks’.
“Double meaning. Feline, Pussycat Dolls. 40 winks, Ashley is 40.”
Kelly isn’t the only person to have thrown Ashley’s name into the mix after series two of The Masked Dancer kicked off on the weekend.
Taking to Twitter, one convinced fan wrote: “Scissors – Ashley Roberts the 40 could be related to all the 40’s she got on strictly.”
Another chipped in: “She’s also 40 years old.”
A third tweeted: “Scissors is Ashley Roberts – that’s someone with dance training!”
While a fourth mused: “Scissors.. Ashley Roberts perhaps? She has to appear at some point, she’s been guessed in every series!”
The Masked Dancer returned to ITV1 on the weekend for a second series and the characters have delighted viewers.
Bosses lined-up 12 participants dressed in wacky costumes to dance on stage for the spin-off to The Masked Singer.
Episode one saw one celebrity unmasked – and it was a shock to everyone.
Astronaut landed in the bottom three along with Candlestick and double-act Pillar and Post, but the judges chose to save the other two leaving the space man as the first to exit the competition.
As the audience shouted “Take it off” the character lifted their mask to reveal Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe.
Jesse played John Rowland in the hit TV series alongside Teri Hatcher and also took on the role of John in John Tucker Must Die.
He starred in the Dallas reboot, as Christopher Ewing, as well as the Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries and Chesapeake Shores.
