EAGLE-EYED fans of the The Masked Dancer are CONVINCED they have worked out who Scissors is and it is a huge HOLLYWOOD star.
During the latest round of the bonkers guessing game, Scissors performed a routine to Christina Aguliera’s hit The Voice Within and has left fans sure of their identity.
Viewers of the ITV game show are convinced that it is Glee legend Heather Morris, who played Brittany Pierce, who has been wowing audiences from behind the mask.
Fans have picked out a series of obscure clues including the mammoth spotted on stage which is said to be a nod to Heather’s role in hit animated movie series Ice Age.
Scissors also claimed to have had more chart hits than music legend Elvis Presley to which fans pointed out the Glee cast secured a greater number of chart entries proving further evidence Heather is behind the mask.
Elsewhere, Scissors used the phrase ‘New Directions’, the name of the glee club in the show as well as referring to the ‘president’ and her Glee character Brittany was the class president on the hit musical show.
Fans went even further into diving through Heather’s calendar and commitments and allege that the US star was in the UK at the time of recording the show.
They pointed out Heather was appearing in Liverpool at a special Glee convention event around the same time The Masked Dancer filmed further highlighting her involvement in the Saturday night game show.
Heather has past dance experience as she previously performed as a back-up dancer for Beyonce.
She first gained prominence when she appeared on So You Think You Can Dance in 2006 before joining Beyonce for a number of tours and live performances over the next two years before gaining her big acting break in Glee
Heather was originally hired to teach the Glee cast the choreography to Single Ladies before being offered a background role of a cheerleader before the role expanded into a leading part after producers discovered she had a talent for delivering one-liners.
Heather has also participated in Dancing with the Stars, the US version of Strictly.
The Masked Dancer airs Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
