FANS of The Masked Dancer have been left convinced that a pregnant ex Strictly Come Dancing star is Prawn Cocktail.
Viewers of the ITV dancing competition took to social media to speculate the identity of the star after spotting “clues”.
The Masked Dancer returned for its second series this week, and Prawn Cocktail is one of the 12 celebrities taking to the stage.
The pink character – who could be seen dancing in a green dress to Dreamgirls disco hit One Night Only – shimmying about on stage.
Fans were clearly impressed with the female stars’ moves, and got right to work trying to figure out who it was behind the mask.
A number of eagle-eyed fans headed to Twitter to speculate it could be former Strictly star – and expectant mum – Stacey Dooley.
As the celebrity star explained they had passions for food and flavours – fans thought the voice sounded just like Stacey, 35.
“Prawn Cocktail sounds like Stacey Dooley,” one wrote, as a second chimed in: “Prawn Cocktail sounds a bit like Stacey Dooley?”
“Prawn Cocktail sounds like Stacey Dooley, like literally exactly like her, you can’t hide that voice,” a third chimed in.
“Prawn Cocktail sounds like it has to be Stacey,” a fourth concluded.
It comes after Masked Dancer fans theorised that Prawn Cocktail is a member of Atomic Kitten and a Masterchef winner after spotting two ‘clues’.
The clue segment contained a references to food, and flavours, leaving fans sure it referred to a famous chef.
Taking to Twitter one fan wrote: “I think it must be a famous chef.”
One fan said: “I think Prawn Cocktail is Liz McClarnon. The menu had a cocktail called Atomised Feline and I believe she won Master Chef too.”
Another said: “I think it’s Liz McClarnon, she won Master Chef.”
Fans also suspected it could be actress and singer, Sheridan Smith after a few musical references thrown in during the show.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Prawn Cocktail had lots of musical references, Sheridan Smith?”
A second chimed: “Prawn cocktail Sheridan Smith,” while a third wrote: ” Sheridan Smith is Prawn Cocktail.”
