THE MASKED Singer fans think they’ve “worked out” who Phoenix is after revealing major clues.
Eagle-eyed viewers of the show have already been putting the clues together to try and unveil the identities of the celebs.
Phoenix impressed the panel with their rendition of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky on Sunday night.
Many armchair sleuths were quick to piece together the clues after and think they’ve identified the distinctive voice as Kaiser Chiefs lead singer Ricky Wilson.
Some fans also spotted that the mythical bird had walked out to his hit song Ruby.
One wrote: “We all know Phoenix’s voice from somewhere. Clue package was weak but I’m gonna go out there and say it’s Ricky Wilson from @KaiserChiefs”
Another posted: “Phoenix Ricky Wilson (though that’s means he came out to his own Kaiser Chiefs song playing).”
A third said: “It defo is Ricky Wilson.. fight me if you think I’m wrong, if it’s not him then he has someone who could replace him.”
“On second listen to Phoenix, I’m hearing Ricky Wilson,” someone tweeted.
Another echoed: “Ricky One of my favourite singers, he’s been on my #MaskedSingerUK wish list for years. Fantastic vocal and embodies the character so theatrically. A red hot Phoenix has never been so cool!”
One fan wrote: “I’m pretty sure phoenix is Ricky Wilson, don’t ask why, i don’t know, but their voices is almost identical.”
Another added: “Best guess for phoenix is Ricky Wilson. Just cos I think he’d love doing the show, singing songs he doesn’t normally sing, putting on voices and characters… and he’s cheap.”
Clues for the character included rising from the ashes, following a hollow trail and mention of the mystery person reinventing themselves.
Their riddle was: “I’m all flame and fire, my feathers ablaze, it may intrigue you to learn, I’ve been a catchphrase.”
A number of fans have guessed David Tennant from the way Phoenix walks and acts – as well as the Doctor Who link of the Doctors regenerating.
The judges also have their own ideas about the celebrity hiding behind the weird and wonderful Phoenix costume.

While some think Lucifer actor Tom Ellis is behind the mask after a series of clues.
One wrote: “Over the past two months I devoured every episode of Lucifer on Netflix, and can now say I am totally convinced the Phoenix is Tom Ellis! The voice and most of the clues seem to fit? Oooh hope I’m right just so we get to see him! #MaskedSingerUK”
