GLAMOROUS Rita Ora is The Masked Singer’s top celebrity detective – despite being mocked for her gaffes by judges and viewers.

The blonde singer, 30, has an accuracy rate of 38 per cent when it comes to guessing the show’s mystery performers across both series.

Rita Ora is The Masked Singer’s top celeb detective – despite stunning co-stars with her ditzy comments.

That puts her ahead of comedian Mo Gilligan on 22 per cent and presenter Davina McCall on 19 per cent.

Chat show legend Jonathan Ross, 60, is the least successful of the current full-time panelists with 14 per cent accuracy.

Rita beat fellow panelists Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall, while Jonathan Ross was the least accurate of the current full-time judges.

But he’s saved from total humiliation by The Hangover actor Ken Jeong, 51, who failed to make a single correct guess before each famous singer was unmasked in series one.

Rita’s dominance will come as a surprise to fans who have seen her co-stars stunned to silence by her ditzy behaviour.

The panel will have one final chance to prove themselves in tomorrow’s final, when Sausage, Badger and Robin are unmasked.

Her lowlights include putting forward fictional characters Alan Partridge and Austin Powers, suggesting Spanx creator Sarah Blakely, 49, when trying to come up with a shortlist of comedians, and confusing Italian Gino D’Acampo, 44, for northerner John Thomson, 51, before the Cold Feet star was unmasked as Bush Baby.

She also bewildered the panel and presenter Joel Dommett, 35, when she suggested Robin might be a flock of ravens.

Ne-Yo and Peter Andre are favourite choices with viewers for Badger.

JLS singer Aston Merrygold and Olly Murs are top candidates for Robin.

Rita has also been jokingly accused of pinching from her fellow judges this series, with Jonathan commenting: “This is what Rita does. She steals your ideas and makes it seem like she had it.”

Overall, the panel has had more correct guesses this series so far with a 22 per cent accuracy rate – just 0.5 per cent ahead of their 2020 score.

They were also quicker to correctly identify their first mystery performer. Rita, Mo and Davina figured out Seahorse was Mel B, 45, in episode two, while last year it took until the fifth episode before Rita fingered Milkshake musician Kelis, 41, as Daisy.

But the panel have also struck out more often this year, with no judges guessing who was behind the mask 56 per cent of the time, compared to 47 per cent in series one.

The panel will have one last chance to prove themselves in tomorrow’s final when Badger, Robin and Sausage will be unveiled.
