THE Masked Dancer’s first ever double act Pillar and Post have been named as This Morning stars by fans.
The pair, who are a postbox with eyes and a big pile of mail, appeared for the first time last night.
Oti Mabuse reckoned they could be This Morning‘s Rochelle Humes and her husband Marvin.
There was a hint that the show was involved when Pillar and Post turned up at a door with a cheque to give away in the clue package.
However, Masked Dancer viewers had another This Morning double act in mind – saying the pair were Nik and Eva Speakman.
Many pointed out the voices sounded just like the pair, who are veterans of the show, often appearing to cure people of phobias.
One wrote: “I think Pillar & Post are Nik & Eva Speakman!”
Another joked: “I’ve got a phobia of postboxes and letters. Pillar and Post can only be The Speakman’s.”
A third suggested: “Speakmans from This Morning. – receive letters about peoples fears is one clue?”
Others questioned: “Are the pillar and post duo the Speakmans off This Morning?” and: “Actually the accents sound real. The Speakmans?”
However, the judges had other guesses. Peter Crouch said: “I noticed hearts on the trees and I thought that was a bit of a clue.
“It could be Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden.”
Last night the Masked Dancer’s first character – Astronaut – was unmasked as Hollywood star Jesse Metcalfe.
There were also plenty of guesses as to some of the other characters – who included Prawn Cocktail, Odd Socks and Candlestick – were.
Scissors quickly named by fans as one of the members of Little Mix after a performance the judges agreed could only have come from a professional dancer.
