ADELE ROBERTS was the first person to be evicted from this year’s I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here!, but she didn’t seem to be too down about it for too long.
This was because she was Face-Timed by singer Jane McDonald whilst getting ready for tonight’s show.
The 40-year-old received a picture of McDonald in her care package and hung the picture up in the camp.
During her time in the jungle, Roberts sang Jane’s praises, declaring her a ‘national treasure’ and ‘queen of wakefield’ and even though it was over the phone, the two have finally met face to face.
An excited Roberts posted the picture on Instagram with the caption Guess who FaceTimed me!!?
Fans were delighted to see Adele catching up with Jane and proved to be just as excited as she was.
Jungle Jane!!!, replied one, with another fan exclaiming: Jane The Queen Macdonald!!
56-year-old Janetold Metro.co.uk: I was gobsmacked! I was really shocked, absolutely thrilled!’
Adele looks delighted to be out of the jungle and back in civilisation
The BBC Radio 1 presenter was eliminated from I’m A Celeb first after she was placed in the bottom two with singer Nadine Coyle.
Legendary presenting duo Ant and Dec revealed last night that votes which were cast via the I’m A Celebrity app did not count and only those who voted via the telephone saw their votes register.
There are many who believe that former EastEnders’ actor Cliff Parisi would have left the jungle if all the votes had counted.
One tweeted: “Adele nooooooooo.. she doesnt deserve to go she smashed the task.. Cliff should have gone. What is the point of the app if it doesnt count.”
