THE Masked Dancer fans have branded the show a ‘fix’ and vowed to ‘boycott’ the ITV hit over a dance move row.
They were furious last night when the Pig was axed.
The Masked Dancer fans had plenty to say when the Pig, revealed to be Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page, was sent home over the Lion.
The ITV show was back for its second episode but viewers insisted Pig had deserved to be saved over the Lion judging by the quality of their dancing skills.
They took to social media site Reddit to complain.
One said: “#maskeddancer is a fix! Pearly King should have gone. #maskeddancer #maskeddanceruk.”
Another said: “#maskeddancer wtf! Can’t believe they’ve sent pig home the other two was s***!”
A third chimed in: “Saving Pearly King!!!! No. They barely moved! #MaskedDancer.”
The Masked Dancer fans were astonished tonight when the Pig was revealed to be Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page.
Many thought the crazy character – who some insisted was set to gave them nightmares – was instantly recognisable during the clue package.
It comes after the Astronaut was revealed to be Hollywood actor Jesse Metcalfe last Saturday.
Several Masked Dancer fans were already convinced it was Gavin and Stacey star Joanna, 45, because it sounded just like her.
The star revealed some of the clues that pointed to the hit sitcom – with many pondering what the clue ’47’ referred to.
Joanna explained: “It was Stacey’s house number in Gavin and Stacey.”
One fan gasped: “No Way.. would never have guessed Joanna Page was Pig, not even a slight idea. I need to get my brain in gear lol.”
