LOVE Island fans were left in hysterics last night after new boy Connagh dropped Shaughna’s hand as soon as they returned to the villa.

The model and the democratic services officer, 25 hit it off on their first date and it was so successful they entered the villa garden hand in hand – and fans found it hilarious at how quickly he dropped it.

Viewers of the ITV2 dating show took to Twitter to discuss how funny they found it.

One joked: “Connagh pulled his hand away so quick Im surprised shaughna didnt get whiplash #LoveIsland.”

Last night the 27-year-old swooped in to save Shaughna from the love triangle she’s been caught up in with fellow islanders Callum Jones and Eve Gale, 22.
The bubbly Essex girl fell hard for the Mancunian, 23 after she locked eyes with him on the first day and went on to couple up with him.

The pair got on like a house on fire – but things soon turned sour after he was stolen by the bombshell Eve Gale, 20.
The scaffolder then went on to ignore Shaughna because he wanted to give the VIP hostess a fair chance at getting to know him – and she wasn’t having any of it.
Now the brunette beauty will be able to give Callum a taste of his own medicine because she had a successful date with someone else – and plans to treat him exactly how she was treated.
And it seems to be doing the trick – and with the recoupling around the corner – in last nights episode the tattooed hunk revealed that he’s leaning more towards choosing the democratic services officer.
