The skating competition returned earlier this year with contestants including former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas and S Club 7‘s Hannah Spearritt.

Holly Willoughby’s sister Kelly posted the snap to celebrate her siblings 43rd birthday today

Holly Willoughby returned to host Dancing on Ice alongside new co-host Stephen Mulhern, and this weekend the star marks her 43rd birthday.

For her big day, Holly’s sister Kelly posted a sweet throwback snap of them together as children wearing matching striped dresses in a garden.

She captioned it: “Happy, happy birthday my darling Holly Dolly. Love you more than a Tommy’s Margarita … can’t say it any clearer than that! Have the best day.”

Holly was inundated with birthday wishes from fans underneath the post, with one writing: “Happy birthday @hollywilloughby hope you are having a wonderful day.”

Another added: “Such a beautiful post. Sister love is the best kind.”

A third commented: “Happy birthday lovely Holls, have a lovely day.”

While Holly is in for a fun birthday weekend, the same cannot be said for the remaining contestants on Dancing on Ice.

That is because show bosses have revealed a shock elimination twist ahead of a brutal double dumping.

The MailOnline reported the two couples in the bottom two will not have to take part in the skate off.

Instead, the celeb and professional dancer who receives the lowest score will leave the competition immediately.

Their final results will be the public and judges’ scores added together.

But then the famous faces with the next lowest scores will have to take part in the skate off.
