PHILLIP Schofield was left red-faced after a shadow blunder made it look like he’d “wet himself” in a behind-the-scenes Dancing On Ice snap.
The 58-year-old star shared the hilarious image to his Instagram Story after tonight’s live show – and thankfully was able to see the funny side.
The snap was taken by his stylist David O’Brien – and the combination of the studio lighting and David’s positioning projected his shadow onto Phil’s crotch, giving the illusion of a very unfortunate stain.
The TV presenter is smiling blissfully unaware in the pic, but was horrified when he looked back through his camera roll.
He captioned the post: “When glam shots go wrong!!
“@DavidOBrien75 didn’t realise his shadow made me look like I’d pee’d me troos!!”
Phil also added a string of crying with laughter emojis to show his amusement.
It was a busy night backstage at Dancing On Ice this evening, with Phil’s co-host Holly Willoughby also taking to social media to share some sneak peek snaps.
However, rather than suspicious shadow stains, the blonde beauty was thrilled to have been “overwhelmingly spoilt” by show bosses ahead of her 40th birthday on Wednesday.
In a stunning snap, the mother-of-three posed in front of giant light-up letters that spelt out her name, which had been decorated with pink flamingos.
Silver metallic tinsel curtains have also been put up, with balloons visible in one corner.
Holly looked sensational as she stood with one hand on her hip, wearing the slinky light blue dress she wore on the show.
The touched star captioned the photo: “Thank you @dancingonice for making me feel so special… it’s kicked off my birthday week in style…
“Honestly felt overwhelmingly spoilt today with all the decorations and cake!!!! Thank you…. love you to bits! 
”.
Meanwhile, DOI fans were left furious when comic Matt Richardson was eliminated from the competition on his very first week – and other viewers accused the judges of marking Faye Brookes “unfairly”.
