DANCING On Ice star Ekin-Su Culculoglu will cover up in tonight’s skate off — so viewers can focus on her performance.
Reality star Ekin-Su, 28, will don a “standard” costume with long sleeves and a skirt, covering her bottom, similar to what she wore in promo snaps for the series.
The Love Island winner sparked more than 100 complaints to broadcast regulator Ofcom after she performed a provocative dance in a “nude” bodysuit to Britney Spears hit Toxic.
Ekin-Su brushed off the furore about her routine with professional skater Brendyn Hatfield, saying: “You know what?
“If you have ’em, flaunt them. I mean, if you’ve got a nice bum and you look sexy in a unitard, why not? Who cares?”
But HOAR on Sunday can reveal the star, who won Love Island last August with Davide Sanclimenti, is determined to survive on the show after a difficult start.
An insider said: “Ekin is a strong character and is coming back fighting.
“She has a lot more to give on the series and has been practising hard.
“Being in the bottom two is always tough, but she is hoping to survive another week.
“She’s proud of her curves, but is happy to wear a more covered-up costume so fans are less distracted and can focus on her skating.”
Speaking earlier this month, Ekin-Su revealed she had been training so hard for the series that her body was aching all over.
She said: “I’m getting a lot more body aches.
“I feel like I’ve been in a boxing match.
“But I realise it’s going to be difficult.
“There are movements I’m not used to, like doing the splits on ice, so it is going to be hard.”
