DANCING On Ice fans have hit out after claiming one contestant is ‘constantly overmarked.’

The inaugural winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, The Vivienne, has come under fire from fans for being ‘overmarked’ by the judges.

Some Dancing On Ice fans say The Vivienne has been overmarked

Three celebs ended up in the skate-off on Sunday, but all four judges chose to save Joey Essex, who soared into the final alongside Nile and The Vivienne.

The Vivienne crashed to the ice while attempting an impressive trick during the solo skate.

And viewers have since taken to social media, with one person writing: “Thought The Vivienne was overmarked slightly how did they get 8 & 8.5 by that then Nile should have had about 15 it was about 7.”

Another said: “No Im sorry! The Vivienne is constantly overmarked.”

A third penned: “Not again. Vivienne overmarked. Molly was so much better.”

And a fourth in agreement added: “I love the Vivienne a fantastic person but I do feel I little overmarked sometimes. Niall was chef’s kiss this evening.”

On Sunday, The Vivienne, whose real name is James Lee Williams, revealed why she chose Over The Rainbow from the hit musical film, The Wizard Of Oz, as a semi-final song choice.

The Vivienne said: “For my personal song, I’m going to be skating to Over the Rainbow.

“As a young boy I really fell in love with The Wizard of Oz because it just made me feel like anything was possible.

“I knew I was different but I didn’t know what it was but seeing Dorothy who knew there was a bigger world out there than Kansas definitely struck something with me.”

The Vivienne rose to prominence when competing in, and winning, the first ever series of the UK instalment of the hit US reality competition, RuPaul’s Drag Race, back in 2019.

She continued: “I came out at 14 and moved to Liverpool when I was 16 and quickly found my tribe.

“It was a big sigh of relief that these people were exactly like me. And then I saw drag queens and thought “wow, I’m really in Oz now!

“It’s a crazy full circle from little seven year-old James dreaming of being Dorothy to now being able to portray this song on ice.”
