JOEY Essex appeared to confirm his romance with Vanessa Bauer as he was quizzed by Dancing On Ice judges tonight.
The former Towie star was the last celeb to take to the ice during Musicals Week.
Joey, 32, performed Grease Lightning alongside his Dancing on Ice pro partner Vanessa, 26, as rumours continue to swirl about their off-camera relationship.
Picking up on the chemistry between them during the routine, host Holly Willoughby said: “You are like a real life Sandy and Danny out there, have you got something to tell us you two?”
Joey replied with a smirk: “Danny and Sandy are getting on pretty well.”
As the audience cheered, Joey added: “If you know what I mean” before doing an exaggerated wink at the camera.
Holly asked: “I mean…is it going steady as they say in Grease?”
Joey replied: “Well yeah, always steady.”
But when Phillip Schofield asked: “Are you confirming this?” Joey replied with a grin: “I’m not confirming anything.”
As he spoke, Vanessa blushed and smiled, before Ashley Banjo said: “Whatever is going on is working.”
Joey’s latest comments come after he opened up to HOAR about their partnership earlier this month.
He said: “I’m truly blessed to be paired with Vanessa, I was very happy.
“You’re close and you are touching each other’s legs . . . and everywhere else. You are very intimate and it can happen.
“Honestly I don’t know how people do this show when they’re married — it would be a disaster.
“People were saying to me, like, ‘If I was married . . . God!’ Lucky I ain’t got a ring on my finger, eh?”
