Ricky, 45, who first met soap legend Claire, 52, on Dancing on Ice‘s 2024 series, was seen cuddling the actress on a bar crawl in the northern city this week.
Clearly eager to blow away the cobwebs from the boozy night – where he was seen clutching two bottles of champagne – he pulled on a puffer coat for his outdoor exercise.
The sports ace plugged in his white headphones to block the outside noise and was seen picking up the pace in his all-black outfit, finished off with dark trainers.
Earlier this week, our exclusive pictures showed the pair with their arms wrapped around each other during a night out.
Brookside and Corrie star Claire donned a classic LBD while Ricky opted for a formal jacket and dark trousers.
They then enjoyed a second romantic date at a pub.
The duo headed down to The Crown boozer in Heaton Moor, Stockport, on Friday night for their latest date.
Claire looked stunning in a white jumpsuit while her man sported a white top with a pastel shirt thrown over the top.
They didn’t seem shy in hiding their night out, even posing for a picture in the middle of the pub.
Love lowdown
Pals close to the pair have now exclusively told HOAR how their catch-ups have been going on for weeks.
They claimed the pair have “got spark” after also being spotted at Liverpool’s Cavern club on Sunday.
A source said: “They became friends on Dancing On Ice and really hit it off.
“It’s since become romantic and they’ve enjoyed a few dates. It’s early days but they’ve got a spark and have been having a great time.”
Ricky split from Playboy model Chelsea Claire, 14 years his junior, days before his Dancing On Ice debut.
Meanwhile Claire had penned a sexy musical about her rocky love life.
The Liverpudlian lass was previously engaged to Daniel Reilly, dad of her son, Jaxon, but they split in 2015.
She has said previously: “I’m open to dating but I’m so busy with Jaxon, Corrie and everything else.
“If I met someone amazing then that would be lovely but it’s out of my hands.”

Speaking to HOAR, she said: “He seems to be back on track now and ready to settle down – if he can control his wandering eye.
“I’m really shocked that he’s gone for Claire. She’s very different to who I would have expected him to end up with.
“I guess she might be a better fit for him. It seems like she’ll be wearing the trousers and the one in control, whereas with me he was looking for someone more submissive.
