ANT and Dec have joked about ‘cutbacks’ at ITV after they were forced to share an umbrella.

The comedy duo were filmed once I’m A Celebrity ended yesterday as they attempted to find their cars in the rain.

Huddling under an umbrella together, Ant teased: “This is how we have to get about. Cut backs at ITV, we have to share a brolly.”

Ant and Dec returned to TV this week with the hit show and initially welcomed ten new campmates into the jungle.

Within 24 hours Olivia was forced to drop out because she broke the show’s strict Covid bubble.

The model and TV host, 31, pleaded with ITV bosses to let her return to camp after she had to leave temporarily over a medical issue.

But they feared the other campmates, who all went into isolation for seven days before starting the show, could then get infected with Covid.

For Olivia to be allowed back, she would have to endure another week’s isolation, which was deemed “impossible”.

Following her exit co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly teed up the arrival of two new campmates, which were confirmed to be Matt Hancock and comedian Seann Walsh.

Ant and Dec also informed the current celebrity contestants of the new arrivals and broke the news that both Matt and Seann, 36, would be undertaking the next trial.

Ahead of entering the jungle, Seann said: “It seems that every single person that does the jungle says it’s the best experience of their life.

“So I’m up for that, I’m up for the best experience of my life. Who wouldn’t be?

“Over the years I’ve read a lot of things about myself and, you know, it does hurt and so I’d love for it to be a kind of new start and just maybe change opinions. That’d be really nice.”

While Matt said: “When I’m in camp, people will just see the real me. Survival in the jungle is a good metaphor for the world I work in.

“People will see me warts and all. See the human side of the guy behind the podium.

“I don’t think I’ve got any fears or phobias, but I’m about to find out.”
