I’M A Celebrity star Chris Moyles spilled the beans on secrets from inside the camp – including why viewers never see it rain.

The DJ, 48, returned to his day job at Radio X for the first time since his jungle stint and quickly opened up about what goes on behind-the-cameras.

Viewers don’t often see it rain in camp and there is a very good reason for that

Chris Moyles revealed a small canopy covers the camp when it rains

Chris revealed that a small retractable canvas canopy covers the camp when the weather turns torrential – but you’re still at risk of getting soaked if you sleep in a hammock.

It stops the campmates from getting rained on directly, and to protect the fire from being put out.

Presenter Toby Tarrant – who hosted The Chris Moyles Show while Chris was in Australia – asked if it’s true there’s a big awning over the top of the camp because it never seems to rain where the campmates are.

Chris replied: “Yes, there is but it’s not there all the time.

“By the way, everybody [in the camp] wants this.

“It would probably cost so much money, but they have a little canopy that just covers the camp area.

“Just from one bed to the phone box and out like that, but if the rain comes in sideways and you’re in the hammock you’re screwed.

“But I’m like I want this from my back garden.”

Chris’ admission comes after he made a brutal swipe at fellow campmate Matt Hancock on the Coming Out show last night.

He couldn’t help but throw shade at the former Health Secretary after he was booted out of the jungle.

Chris placed sixth on this year’s series of I’m A Celeb.

After the DJ was greeted on the famous bridge by Tiffany Austin, he headed back to JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa in Queensland to see the rest of his campmates.

He was treated to plenty of cheers when he arrived – however Chris told his former campmates to tone it down.

Chris told them: “Stop! I’m not Matt Hancock.”

The star made it very clear about his opinion on the MP during his stint on the show – both in and out of the jungle.

When he was voted off the show, Chris shared his shock at being less popular than the politician.

He told Ant and Dec: “I’m gutted that Matt Hancock is more popular than me.”

“Why am I out and he’s still in?”, Chris added.

Most recently he opted for radio silence towards one of his I’m A Celeb campmates in a secret sign of a feud.

While he is following many of his co-stars on Instagram, Matt’s account is noticeably absent from his following list.
