Fans of the hit reality show I’m A Celebrity are worried that contestant Josie Gibson may leave the show following an emotional breakdown. The 38-year-old presenter became visibly upset in camp as she thought about her 5-year-old son Reggie.

Josie Gibson Breaks Down in Tears

Last night’s episode showed Josie sobbing in the toilet, causing speculation among viewers that she may quit the show. Former EastEnders star Danielle Harold checked on her and asked what was wrong. Josie tearfully admitted, “I just miss my little boy. I shouldn’t have ever left him this long.”

Concerns for Josie’s Future on the Show

Viewers expressed their concerns on social media, with one person writing, “I’m concerned Josie might walk, she’s struggling.” Another viewer tweeted, “I really hope Josie sticks it out, she’ll be with her boy soon!” A show source also revealed that Josie has been struggling in the last few days and may consider leaving if things don’t improve.

Josie’s Guilt and Preparation

After being comforted by Danielle, Josie spoke to the Bush Telegraph and expressed feelings of guilt for participating in the show. She said, “Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I’ll never leave him this long again, ever.” Josie had previously mentioned how she prepared Reggie for her absence by making videos and explaining the situation to him.

Son Reggie Arrives in Australia

Despite her worries, Josie can find solace in the fact that Reggie has arrived in Australia to welcome her when she eventually leaves the show. Reggie was seen at Brisbane Airport wearing a “Team Josie” T-shirt, accompanied by Josie’s best friend Mia Williams. Mia shared that Reggie has been coping well with his mom’s absence and that he wants to see her on TV.

I’m A Celebrity continues to air on ITV1 and ITVX.
