I’M A Celebrity has been moved to a later time tonight, following last night’s shock elimination.

Ant and Dec revealed the news after the public decided to vote Charlene White out of the jungle, in the first eviction of the series.

I’m A Celebrity fans are used to the show kicking off every day at 9pm on ITV, during its run each year.

But in a change of scheduling, the show will now be on at 9.10pm tonight.

Ant revealed the news at the end of last night’s show, saying: “That’s it from us, but we’ll be back at the slightly later time of ten past nine.”

ITV are showing the movie Shazam! before I’m A Celebrity, so therefore no real reason has been given for the schedule change.

However, Strictly ends at 9.10pm on BBC One, so ITV may have changed the time because of this.

Meanwhile, last night newsreader Charlene, 42, was booted off after quitting her Bushtucker trial earlier in the episode.

She said: “It was emotional. To use that ridiculous American phrase, It has been a journey, and I’ve absolutely loved living with those guys.

“Every single one of those guys have been great.”

On sharing the jungle with disgraced MP Matt Hancock, the ITV broadcaster said she wanted to remain impartial and commented: “Well I think my money was on him or Liz Truss in terms of which one you guys were going to convince to come on.

“I was surprised but not surprised, I may well be in the jungle but journalism is my first job.”

She sipped on her glass of champagne and added: “I wanted to ask questions that people on the outside had.

“We had to live alongside him and adapt to that. He’s made some connections in there which is wonderful.”

Charlene also addressed the controversy around sleeping arrangements in the camp, after she refused to sleep in the RV with Matt.

The mum-of-two added: “I just think it would be really difficult to do the job that I will continue doing after I leave here once I have spent the night with a politician. Not in that way!”
