THE I’m A Celebrity stars have been pictured meeting each other for the first time.

Hosts Ant and Dec were on hand to welcome them with big beaming smiles showing just how happy they are that the show is back in Australia for the first time in three years.

I’m A Celebrity’s Chris Moyles, Charlene White, Jill Scott, Olivia Attwood and Babatunde Aleshe have finally met
Ant and Dec couldn’t have looked happier to start work

In keeping with past series, the celebs appear to have been separated.

The first group to be introduced featured Chris Moyles, Charlene White, Jill Scott, Olivia Attwood and Babatunde Aleshe.

Everything looked relaxed as five piece enjoyed refreshing drinks in the grounds of a luxury villa as a film crew caught their every word.

Still dressed in their own clothes, the contestants are yet to received their standard issue camp clothing.

While the celebs have been isolating ahead of the show launch, hosts Ant and Dec have been pictured enjoying beach walks together.

The duo have made no secret of their eagerness to “torment” the celebs now that the show is back in its spiritual home.

First up is the iconic ‘Walk the Plank’ trial that will see some of the celebs teetering at the top of a huge tower.

While other celebs will be dropped on a deserted island for a night of isolation.

A show insider said: “The first twist will see some celebrities dumped on an island in the Pacific while the rest of the group head into camp.

“However the beautiful island will not be what it seems and the group of unlucky celebs will face a terrifying night while completely exposed to the elements.

“They will feel like Robinson Crusoe on the island and it will make the Jungle camp feel like a palace.

“Bosses are determined that this series will be the biggest yet and viewers will be glued to the screen as the celebs test themselves to the max.”

The terrifying tower trial is back after the series was forced to relocate to Gwrych Castle in Wales for the last two years because of restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic.

Crew members were snapped assembling the structure on top of a high rise on the Gold Coast.

But it appears there will be another twist this year as the photos show three platforms instead of two.

The new stars competing to become king or queen of the jungle will be forced to face their fears by walking to the end of the platforms suspended 32-storeys in the air.

The celebs will have to leave the luxury setting behind as they head into the jungle
