I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is back on TV, and this time the show has returned to the Aussie jungle.

The campmates have arrived Down Under, and there isn’t long before the show kicks off on ITV.

Ant and Dec are back in the Aussie jungle for the 2022 series of I’m A Celebrity

Who is taking part in I’m A Celebrity 2022?

I’m A Celebrity is making its big comeback in Australia and will kick off on November 6, 2022, ITV has confirmed.

The popular reality show has taken place in Wales for the last two years due to travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

But the celebrities taking part in the new series are being treated to the FULL Aussie experience.

And of course, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will return as hosts.

Sue Cleaver

Sue Cleaver, best known for being on Coronation Street, is taking part in I’m A Celeb.

The soap star has played Eileen Grimshaw in the soap for 22 years, and follows in the footsteps of co-star Simon Gregson who took part in the Welsh-set contest in 2021

Sue shot to fame on Victoria Wood’s Dinner Ladies back in the 90s.

Owen Warner

Owen Warner is taking on the jungle after signing up to I’m A Celebrity.

He has previously admitted he is scared of snakes and would miss his family and football while in the jungle.

The star is best known for playing Romeo Nightingale in Hollyoaks.

Jill Scott

Footballer Jill Scott is another confirmed campmate.

The footy ace who famously swore during the Euros, insists she will be keeping it clean in the jungle.

Speaking to HOAR as she landed at Brisbane airport, Jill said: “I have never had an interview where they haven’t mentioned that.

“I am not proud of that swearing and I don’t usually swear so I’d like to think that wouldn’t happen again.”

Chris Moyles

Chris Moyles is taking on his biggest challenge

Radio presenter Chris Moyles is taking on his biggest challenge on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

He is best known for being on Radio 1 and Radio X.

Chris was the first celebrity to touch down at the airport in Brisbane.

When asked if by HOAR if he was looking forward to spending time in Australia, Chris told our reporter on the ground: “It should be nice, fingers crossed anyway.”

Mike Tindall

Mike Tindall is first ever Royal Family member to join I’m A Celebrity

HOAR exclusively revealed how Mike Tindall has agreed to be the first royal on prime time reality TV.

The former England rugby ace is married to the late Queen’s granddaughter Zara Phillips, and is the ITV show’s biggest ever signing.

Details of Mike’s deal remain a closely-guarded secret, but a source told HOAR: “It’s a massive coup.

“Mike has had a box seat for some of the most important moments in royal history for generations.

“He is sure to be discreet, but his sheer presence means this series will be an absolute must-watch.”

Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood is the first ever Love Island star to enter the jungle as she is the second contestant to land in Australia.

Since leaving the villa, Olivia’s TV career has taken off.

She featured in Towie as well as having her own show with footballer fiancé Bradley Dack.

In 2021, Olivia said she would take part in I’m A Celeb: “I’d love to do the jungle. I’d give Dancing On Ice a go, although it does scare me.

“I’m a bit of a baby, so I don’t like getting hurt.

“I feel like the minute I fall over once, I’d be done. I know it sounds dramatic, but I’m just a bit like that.

“For me, the jungle is less scary. So I’d love to do the jungle.”

Charlene White

Charlene White is a 2022 campmate

Loose Women star Charlene White is taking part in I’m A Celebrity.

The ITV star who has been an anchor on the daytime show since 2021, has reportedly agreed to fly to Australia for the show.

An ITV source said: “Charlene is a great signing for the show.

“She’s got some strong opinions, but is really personable and will be good value around the Aussie campfire.

“They hope her journalistic background means she will eke out some illuminating conversations from her campmates, which shouldn’t be hard given some of the people she’ll be sleeping in a bunk next to.

“Seann and Boy George for example both have a very colourful background so viewers should expect a proper grilling from Charlene.”

Babatunde Aléshé

Known for appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside comedian and friend Mo Gilligan, Babatunde is set to appear on I’m A Celebrity.

An insider told HOAR: “Bosses are really excited to have Babatunde in the mix. He’s become a firm favourite with Celebrity Gogglebox viewers and producers reckon he’ll be a great campmate.

“He’s been doing stand-up for years but it’s his banter and constant one-liners with best mate Mo on Celebrity Gogglebox that really impressed the casting team. It’s a great opportunity for him to head to the jungle.”

Boy George

Boy George has been confirmed to be on I’m A Celeb.

A telly source said: “Boy George is a real coup for producers, there is a lot of excitement in-house at ITV.

“The singer is renowned for his dry wit and frank delivery, he is always outspoken and will be hilarious value in camp.

“There is hope that he will regale viewers with his showbiz stories about his famous friends.

“While George is well acquainted with Australia after living in Sydney for several years, he has no experience of the Outback, so will be like a fish out of water living rough.”

Scarlette Douglas

Scarlette Douglas is part of the I’m A Celeb camp

Travel presenter Scarlette Douglas has signed up for the show.

The 35-year-old quit her job hosting A Place in the Sun in August 2022 after seven years to focus on a new property series for Channel 4, Worst House on the Street.

A TV insider said: “Scarlette has what it takes to become a big household name like Stacey Solomon and Joel Dommett after her time in the Jungle.

“She has proved to be a hit amongst viewers following the success of her property shows and there is no doubt that she will be inundated with offers for more telly gigs.”

Seann Walsh

Seann Walsh is taking on the challenge of the jungle

Comedian Seann Walsh is swapping the stage for the jungle – but will a late arrival to the camp.

He caused controversy in 2018 when he took part in Strictly Come Dancing and kissed his married dance partner Katya Jones, while also being in a long term relationship himself.

A source said: “Seann is an incredible signing for I’m A Celebrity and it’s a real coup for ITV.

“His snog with Katya is the biggest scandal to have ever hit Strictly. People still talk about it.

“Seann has joked about his snog with Katya in his comedy sketches but he’s never spoken in detail about their relationship.

“Life in the jungle is boring and those long hours around the campfire would be the perfect time for Seann to get talking.

“He can’t shy away from it either as he’s best known for that snog.

“It’s unlikely his campmates won’t bring it up. It won’t be an easy watch for Katya or the people burnt by their romance.”

Matt Hancock

Matt Hancock is part of the I’m A Celebrity 2022 line-up

HOAR exclusively revealed how former Health Secretary Matt Hancock has signed up for I’m A Celeb.

The politician, who had to resign after HOAR exposed him for breaking his own lockdown rules by having an affair in the office, will be the 12th star to go into the jungle.

A TV insider said: “Matt is a sensational signing for the show as producers love a star with a story to tell – and they always hope they’ll spill the beans round the campfire.

“He’s the latest in a long line of figures from the political sphere, including MP Nadine Dorries, Stanley Johnson and MP Lembit Opik.

“There’s been a  question mark over who the twelfth campmate would be, partly because negotiations over Matt going in were so top secret. It seems Matt was a last-minute signing.”
