I’M A Celebrity fans are concerned Babatúndé Aléshé is going to miss the show’s most popular event.

The comedian has been ruled out of every trial involving water as “exempt” by show hosts Ant and Dec.

That has sparked speculation that the star isn’t able to swim or can’t go in the water.

Unfortunately, the Celebrity Cyclone – a challenge that the I’m A Celeb finalists have to taken on – is heavily water-based.

It involves the remaining stars struggling along a slippery surface flowing with water while being blasted with cannons, wind and balls.

However, fans are keen to see him do it, with one tweeting: “I just want Babatunde to get to top 4 so I can see him in the cyclone, I think he’d be so funny.”

Babatúndé, previously best known as Mo Gilligan’s friend on Celebrity Gogglebox, has proved a big hit on the show.

He hasn’t exactly excelled in his challenges – shouting: “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” on his first one, Walk The Plank.

But several of them have seen him ruled out entirely, with Ant and Dec explaining viewers cannot vote for him in each task involving water.

ITV would not comment why he can’t do the challenges but viewers think he will also be excempt from the Celebrity Cyclone.

One wrote: “Do you think babatunde is exempt from the water trials cos he can’t swim?”

Another tweeted: “How’s babatunde gonna do the cyclone?”

A third posted: “Wait do people really think Baba being exempt is a “fix”? He was exempt from tentacles of terror (water based) and he’s now exempt from another trial with a water aspect.

“Clearly he either can’t swim or isn’t a confident swimmer???”

I’m A Celeb returns to ITV1 tonight at 9pm
