Myleene Klass, Helen Flanagan and Carol Vorderman strip off to bikini tops as I’m A Celeb cast face double eviction, I'm A Celebrity...South Africa: Episode five. Friday 28 April.

THE I’m A Celebrity camp will be forced to choose the next evictee themselves, in a bombshell first for the show.

Viewers saw Shaun Ryder and Gillian McKeith become the first to leave on Friday, leaving stars including Carol Vorderman and Jordan Banjo in knots as Ant and Dec tomorrow night break the news of the secret ballot.

Walking into the Kruger National Park site, Dec says: “We bring news. For one of you this will be your last night in camp. But this time, who that is, is up to you.”

Ant adds: “You’ll each be taking part in a secret ballot and you’ll be voting to decide the next celebrity to leave camp.”

Afterwards, speaking to camera, Dec says: “They did not like that. They were all about to go to bed and now they have to think about who to vote for.”

Paul Burrell erupted: “That’s not nice! That smiling assassin duo has delivered an incendiary device into the middle and the heart of our camp and family and I am not very happy.”

Georgia Toffolo adds: “That’s horrendous. I don’t like this.”

And Myleene Klass says: “Imagine the best day you’ve ever had and then a giant foot comes and stamps on all of you. That’s what it feels like. Nasty, nasty thing to do.”

The scenes play out on Monday night’s show after a tumultuous 24 hours in camp, which saw Shaun and Gillian become the earliest celebs to ever leave via a Survival Trial.

It was a major shake-up to the show format, made necessary because of the pre recorded nature of the show.

A source said: “All the celebs had to undertake a week-long quarantine before even arriving in the camp so many have had a real juggle to make the commitment.

“And of course their hopes are hung on being on the show a long time and grab a decent whack of airtime to promote causes, their businesses or boost their profiles – they are professionals, after all.

“The celebs were all just settling in so the news went down like a lead balloon.”

Also in Monday’s show, Amir Khan, Myleene and Helen Flanagan take on I’m A Celebrity’s highest trial ever, which sees them walk the plank and climb a pylon some 1,100metres above sea level atop the Mariepskop mountain.
