I’m A Celebrity star Nella Rose has finally spoken out about her exit from the ITV show during an appearance on Wednesday’s This Morning. The MTV anchor, 26, was the second contestant to be evicted from the 2023 series of I’m A Celeb on Monday.
Clash with Fred Siriex
Nella revealed that she had a bitter feud with First Dates star Fred Siriex while on the show. The clash arose when Fred made a comment about Nella’s family situation. Nella, who has lost both her parents, confronted Fred about his insensitive remark. However, she clarified that despite their disagreement, they have since patched things up and are still friends.
“Big, Fat Misunderstanding”
Nella explained that the conflict with Fred was a result of a “big, fat misunderstanding” and emphasized that they have moved past it. She acknowledged that tensions can run high in the jungle and that everything gets intensified in that environment. Fred also agreed that the backlash Nella received for her remarks was unjust and unfair.
Controversial Conversations
Nella also addressed her discussions with ex UKIP leader Nigel Farage during her time on the show. She stated that she will not forget the conversations she had with Nigel, as they were important and needed to be had. Despite clashing multiple times over issues such as immigration and cultural appropriation, Nella expressed the value of hearing different opinions.

Nella declared that she wouldn’t have done anything differently on the show and emphasized that she is unapologetically herself. She compared herself to Marmite, stating that people either love her or hate her.
Media Speculation
There was speculation about Nella’s absence from the ITV daytime show Lorraine the day after her eviction. The show’s host, Lorraine, confirmed that Nella had initially been scheduled to appear but decided not to give any interviews that day. An ITV insider clarified that Nella had not refused to do any press. Lorraine expressed her well wishes for Nella and hoped she was enjoying a well-deserved rest.
