I’m A Celeb star Nigel Farage has revealed the true motivation behind his decision to strip off on the show, disregarding the strict rules set by the bosses. The 59-year-old politician surprised viewers when he repeatedly got naked to wash in the jungle.
Personal Hygiene Matters
Nigel has now explained why he chose to bare all while in camp. “I was told that I shouldn’t be naked. And yet the doctor said, personal hygiene really matters in the jungle, checking yourself for horrors like leeches matter,” Nigel told GB News. He continued, “You’re not going to do that unless you are naked, so I ignored what ITV said. And I continued to shower naked every day.”
Delighted with the Outcome
Nigel expressed his satisfaction with how things turned out, stating, “I’m delighted with the way that it turned out, thrilled that I got through to the last round, and I was the outsider. The other 11 people that went in there were either professional sportsmen or people from pop music or popular culture.”
Unaware Celebs
Jockey Frankie revealed that none of the celebrities back in camp had any idea about Nigel’s au naturel moments. The shower area was located far away from the camp, keeping the others in the dark. Frankie explained, “The shower is miles away from the camp so we don’t know what’s going on. I am not going to go and spy on Nigel’s butt!”
An Eyeful for Josie Gibson
This Morning’s Josie Gibson, however, was not as fortunate. She accidentally stumbled upon the waterfall shower while Nigel was washing himself. Shocked, she exclaimed, “Frickin’ hell!” In the Bush Telegraph, she later laughed and said, “Fair play to him, he just gets on in there and at least he’s clean.”
