Is Nigel Farage being sidelined?

Nigel Farage’s team has voiced their concerns about his minimal airtime on the latest episode of I’m a Celebrity. Despite reportedly earning £65,000 per day, Farage has been noticeably absent in recent days.

Apologies for the blink-and-miss moments

Apologizing to ITV viewers, Farage’s camp took to Twitter to express their disappointment, stating, “Apologies to all the ITV viewers who blinked between 9pm-10:20pm this evening… You probably missed Nigel.” Alongside their scathing comment, they even mocked up a picture of him on Crimewatch.

Is Farage too boring for the show?

Sources claim that Farage’s lack of airtime is due to his “boring” personality and excessive focus on politics. An insider revealed that Farage is considered one of the least interesting campmates, with producers struggling to find fun storylines to showcase a different side of him. According to the insider, Farage’s lack of personality outside of politics makes him less entertaining than the local wildlife.

A gameplan revealed

Farage has openly discussed his strategy in the jungle. He informed food critic Grace Dent that by participating in challenges, he could secure 25% of the airtime and reach a new audience. However, his tactics seemed to backfire as the public stopped voting for him.

Conflict or airtime?

Some fans speculated that Farage intentionally created conflict, such as challenging Nella about cultural appropriation, to generate more airtime. Despite the altercation, Nella appeared cordial with Farage soon after, leading his friends to accuse the show of giving her a pep talk.

Preferential treatment?

A friend of Farage raised concerns about preferential treatment on the show. They claimed that Farage is being his authentic self while other contestants are allegedly receiving advice from the production team. The friend questioned whether this violates ITV’s own rules and wondered how many other celebrities are benefiting from such treatment.
