JUST days after their passionate reunion, Matt Hancock and his girlfriend Gina were separated once again as she flew home alone from I’m A Celebrity.

The former health secretary stayed back in Australia while Gina headed home with Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott and the star’s fiance Shelly Unitt.

Now we can reveal the real reason Matt didn’t return to the UK with Gina.

He stayed behind for a big-money deal interview after finishing third.

But it wasn’t for long – the politician was just six hours behind his girlfriend in boarding a flight.

She had made the 10,000 mile trip to Oz to greet MP Matt when he exited the jungle as a shock finalist.

They shared a raunchy reunion on the bridge in front of millions of viewers after a month apart.

A body language expert said they were like loved-up teenagers as they kissed and cuddled in view of the cameras.

Lovestruck Matt then couldn’t keep his hands off Gina as they let loose at the official wrap party,

Flying home without her other half, Gina, 45, was looked after by series winner Jill and her partner Shelly.

The trio hit it off during the brief time they’ve known each other, with pictures showing them chatting away merrily.

Before entering the jungle, Matt vowed to return to work as an MP as soon as he was eliminated.

His inclusion in the line-up was controversial with many thinking he should not have been allowed to take part as a serving politician.

He’s thought to be on a flight back to the UK now to get back to work for his constituents.

Matt, 44, who has three children, had the Tory whip removed after accepting the £400,000 deal from ITV to appear in the jungle.

Married MP Matt was attempting to revive his image after cheating on his wife with millionaire Gina, who he hired with taxpayers’ money as Covid gripped Britain.

HOAR exposed the couple’s secret affair after they were caught on camera in a steamy clinch at his Whitehall office.

Gina was married to Oliver Tress, who founded fashion firm Oliver Bonas, but the pair left their partners to be together.

After finishing third on I’m A Celeb, Matt spoke about his decision to take part in the reality show, saying: “I know that it was controversial me coming here, I know some people said people in your position shouldn’t put themselves in embarrassing situations.

“But we’re all human and we all put ourselves in it.”

He added: “I just went in absolutely clear that I was going to be totally myself as if there cameras weren’t on and that’s what I did.

“And that is what I’m like in private!”
