In the latest season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, viewers have witnessed the surprising friendship between TV personality Sam Thompson and professional boxer Tony Bellew. The two contestants have formed a close bond during their time in the jungle.
Concerns About the Friendship
However, their connection may not be as solid as it seems. According to ex-camp-mate Nick Pickard, who is best known for his role on Hollyoaks, there may be some trouble ahead for Sam and Tony’s friendship once they leave the jungle.
Controversial Footage
In an interview with Fleur East on Hits Radio, Nick revealed that there is footage of Sam throwing berries at Tony, which may not sit well with the professional boxer. Nick hinted that Tony might have some concerns about this incident when he exits the show.
Original Bromance
Furthermore, Nick mentioned that another camp-mate, Marvin, may be feeling left out as Sam and Tony’s friendship has taken the spotlight. There was originally a bromance between Marvin and Sam, but it seems to have been overshadowed by the bond between Sam and Tony.
Security Intervention
Nick also shared a story about Tony calling for security backup in the I’m A Celebrity camp. Apparently, a tarantula made its way into the camp, and Tony quickly called for help. Despite the efforts of the security team, the fast tarantula managed to escape into the bushes.
Physical Impact of the Jungle
Since his departure from the show, Nick has spoken about the physical toll that being in the jungle has taken on him. He revealed that there were weight restrictions for the Bushtucker Trials, and he ended up losing one stone three pounds during his time on the show.
