JILL SCOTT is most famous for the triumph she achieved with England’s women’s football team when they won the European championship in 2022.
But when she found herself away from the pitch and a football, Jill Scott‘s focus turned to opening and working in a coffee shop.
Where is Jill Scott’s coffee shop?
Jill Scott‘s coffee shop can be found on Palatine Road in Northenden, up in Manchester.
She and her fiance Shelly Unitt decided to call their co-owned coffee shop Boxx2Boxx.
The title came after Scott’s football position as a box-to-box midfielder.
Boxx2Boxx hold several events such as Wednesday walks and board game nights and you can occasionally see Jill or Shelly working there too.
You probably won’t get to meet the European champion in the coming months as she’ll be filming I’m A Celebrity.
However, she is there from time to time, living a rather normal life then a celebrity one.
Shelly told the Manchester Evening News: “Since the Euros have been on, obviously it’s very busy anyway if I’m being totally honest, but then when Jill is in the shop, it just goes completely manic, wild.
“Everyone wants to come down and chat and Jill’s got a lot of time for everybody.
“I feel like everybody pulls together and comes in.
“Jill will come in once or twice a week, dependent on training and her availability, really.
“On the Euros, for the day that it kicked off, it went ballistic.
“We had to have like five staff in, there were queues out the door, everyone was just coming in, from all over the country though.
“We even had someone from Hong Kong, they said that they’d literally come from London to Manchester and came into the shop.
“Australia too, and it was just for a meeting hopefully.
“There’s a corner of football, we didn’t want it in your face or anything like that.”
Shelly admitted that sometimes even other women footballers pay it a visit, even players from Arsenal or Chelsea when they’re up there playing.
She added: “The City girls are always in, there’s Lauren, Kiera and Lucy.
“Then, obviously, when the girls are up from London, we have the Arsenal and Chelsea girls come in.
“You know, they come and support our coffee shop, but I think they just like the coffee don’t they, it’s trendy.
“We’ve had Fara Williams, there’s been loads of people who just come and grab a coffee.”

Jill Scott and Shelly Unitt opened the coffee shop in April 2021.
They are closed on Mondays and open throughout the week from Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
They are also open on weekends from 10am to 3pm.

Jill Scott is one of England’s best footballers and spend most of her career playing for Manchester City.
She plays in the position of a box-to-box midfielder and was a prominent force in the women’s mission to win the EUROs in 2022.
She also won the Women’s Super League with Man City in 2016, and the FA WSL in 2014, 2016 and 2019.
On August 23, 2022, Jill announced that she will be retiring from football aged 35, along with her teammate Ellen White, 33.
She retired as England’s second-most capped player after Fara Williams, with 161 appearance to her name.
For her services to women’s football, Jill Scott was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2020 New Year Honours List.
