LOVE Island fans are convinced that new bombshell Sammy was told who to pick for his dates by producers and even say there’s proof.
Hunky new arrival Sammy Root arrived during Thursday’s episode of the ITV2 dating show and immediately made a beeline for Molly Marsh, Jess Harding and Ella Thomas.
Sammy wasted no time getting to know three of the women in the villa
Sammy, 22, a project manager from Kent, wasted no time after arriving at the Love Island villa and invited the three women to join him for a date in the hideaway.
Ella, 23, who is currently paired up with Tyrique Hyde, was the first to be summoned after receiving a text that read: “Ella, I’m waiting to date you on the hideaway terrace. I’ll give the other two girls a shout later.”
The pair seemed to get on as they shared a cocktail, with the model later revealing that she thought he was really nice and felt they “had good energy”.
However, viewers were convinced that Sammy had been told to also ask Jess, 22, and Molly, 21, for a chat by producers based on a comment the hunk had previously said.
Taking to Twitter to discuss their findings many couldn’t help but recall that Sammy’s supposed taste in women was not reflected in his dates.
“Did the producers make him choose Jess and Molly?? Swear they said his type is brunette #LoveIsland,” questioned one suspicious person.
Another viewer moaned: “Feel like producers forced him to pick Jess #LoveIsland”
“The show is so staged convenient he picks Jess who’s been begging for someone to come in and picks Molly to stir things up with Mitch. All this after saying he prefers brunettes producers instructions,” penned someone else.
While a fourth stated: “I guess Molly and Jess are brunettes from now on”.
Sammy’s arrival comes just days before the very first re-coupling of the series which will see one Islander dumped from the villa if they are left single.
