Sammy hinted she should feel lucky when he said his fellow Londoner he is her type, but she is not his.
Making his comments in the Beach Hut, he said: “Without sounding bad, I was Jess’ type, she wasn’t mine.
“I’m the one that sort of worked to try something new and explore Jess and now she’s trying to play games.”
Fans took this to mean the Love Island bombshell was insinuating he was doing her a favour by dating her and giving things a go.
Under a Reddit thread entitled: “Sammy needs to be dumped sorry,” fans let rip.
One wrote: “He seems to tear people down when he feels threatened or embarrassed.”
A second put: “Got this vibe from him as soon as he asked Jess if she’s into the gym.”
A third wrote: “Completely agree. his attitude and behaviour is flat out disrespectful. Can’t wait to see the back of him honestly.”
One then put: “FAM YOU NAILED IT. Atrocious is the adjective I’d use to describe Sammy.”
A final fan argued: “Like him basically saying that he’s doing a favour to Jess by at least trying because she’s not his type I found so disgusting because who an earth gave that kind of ego to HIM?
“And then he has the audacity to question Jess’s integrity when he’s the least honest of them all.”
The couple has had a spat that has lasted a few days following Sammy flirting with a late addition to the villa, Leah Taylor after they were recoupled. Matters went from bad to worse when Leah appeared to entertain Mitchel Taylor‘s advances in the recoupling.
During their heated conversations, fans started to question Sammy’s behaviour.
Recently fans were stunned as he appeared to share a saucy moment with Jess – before he cut her down with a brutal comment.
This prompted former Love Island villain Liv Hawkins to brand him a “game player.”
Fans have also previously branded him a “walking red flag.”
Yet in the latest twist, the duo have both ended up single.
They were voted the least compatible after their explosive rows – and host Maya Jama surprised them by telling them they are now single.
