LOVE Island fans were left unimpressed after Sammy made an “offensive” comment to Jess in last night’s episode.
Fans of Love Island saw bombshell Sammy Root make his entrance on Thursday evening, with him choosing to date Jess Harding, Ella Thomas and Molly Marsh.
Jess was one of the girls Sammy picked to get to know in the hideaway
He wasted no time in quizzing her on her gym habits
And fans were left unimpressed – taking to social media to hit out at the bombshell
It was during his time in the hideaway with Jess that Sammy quizzed her on her gym habits.
He asked: “Are you a gym girl?”
Laughing, Jess replied: “No. Should I have said yes?”
Appearing surprised, Sammy said: “Are you not? I’ll get you into the gym.”
And viewers were left unimpressed. Taking to Twitter, one posted a red flag emoji and added: “Not Sammy asking Jess if she goes to the gym then saying not to worry, he will get her into it.”
Another said: “F*** Sammy that question about the gym felt like an attack towards Jess.”
And a third added: “Cheers to Jess for being herself and not faking it and f*** Sammy for asking if she’s a gym girl that’s such a dead question.”
Sammy also had a drink with Ella in the hideaway last night, but fans insisted Tyrique Hyde – who she’s currently coupled up with – had nothing to worry about.
