LOVE Island fans have praised the show after spotting a huge change to the cast line up.

The show is back as of June 5 with a new batch of villa stars dusting off their bikinis and diving into TV’s wildest dating show.

Love Island fans have praised the new line up for 2023

Fans of the show say the bodies of the contestants are ‘more realistic’

And viewers are already pleased that the cast of boys don’t all have “chiselled abs.”

Taking to social media to air their views, many said the bodies of the contestants are “more realistic” than previous years.

One person wrote: “Of course they all work out, they dont just look like that without training, but all of the boys’ physiques from last season are attainable naturally.”

Another said: “I really appreciate that the boys this season look a lot more realistic body wise than other seasons.”

A third person added: “Finally a group of boys who don’t spend every living moment in the gym.”

The boys line up includes Tyrique Hyde, who is best friends with Toby Aromolaran and has promised to bring “vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty”.

George Fensom is going in, and made a slightly leftfield choice when asked to name who he’d like to have with him in the villa.

The business exec said: “I’m going to go with a little sweetheart called Megan Fox, if you’ve seen Transformers.

“The second would be Anne Hegerty from The Chase.

“I wouldn’t crack on with her but I’d have a laugh with her.”

Mehdi Edno reckons he can impress the girls with his flair for languages.

He insisted: “I’d simply start by speaking French, that usually gets girls interested.”

Hunk Mehdi – who is being described by the show as a “French fancy” – added: “Looks are important but they aren’t everything.

Hunky plumber Mitchel Taylor is one of the other stars revealed to be going into the villa this summer – being described as “this season’s Davide“.

And economics graduate and fashion designer Andre Furtado was one of the first names revealed – when he was described as “the perfect signing”.

Love Island kicks off on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Fans will be treated all week long with hour long episodes of Love Island.

The Saturday episode will be a highlights episode, recapping the events of the past week.

Some fans claim last year’s boys were all ‘too chiselled’
