VIEWERS of Love Island have been left convinced that they know the ‘real reason’ Tyrique Hyde chose to tell Ella Thomas he loved her – and it is all because of Whitney.
Fans of the ITV2 dating show watched on as charmer Tyrique, 24, whisked Scottish beauty Ella to the front of the Majorcan villa to tell her how much he cared for her.

The semi-pro footballer poured his heart out to this villa partner which culminated in him telling her that he “loved her”.
The sweet moment came as he enlisted the help of fellow Islanders Zach Noble and Sammy Root, who helped him plan a special surprise at the front of the villa – including chocolate-covered strawberries and a private chat on a beanbag.
Tyrique then professed his love for the model, telling her: “The last thing I really expected was to find someone that I really genuinely had a connection with.
“I’m just so glad, it’s not been easy but nothing that’s worth it comes easy, do you know what I mean.
“And I feel like we’ve got through every single task, got through every single hurdle and we’re just still here together strong.
“The feelings I’ve had towards you, I’ve never had before in my life.
“And if I’m being honest I didn’t know I was capable of having these feelings. You’re the first person that’s ever made me feel like this.
“I’m really capable of catching feelings.”
He then confessed: “I just want to let you know, I wanted to say to you that I do love you.”
However, fans believe it is all for show as they claim he is desperate to be the top couple and the winner.
Following a recent show twist, Maya Jama revealed to the Islanders that the public had chosen Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki as their favourites.
Now, fans believe Tyrique is aiming to take the top spot.
Writing online, one viewer said: “Tyrique clocked they weren’t the public fave and said avengers assemble lol. He isn’t slick.”
Another echoed: “Funny how Ty is doing all this after finding out that Whitney and Lochan are the favourite couple.”

Viewers were similar left thinking that this motivation was the same reason that Tyrique went after Whitney and Lochan around the firepit over their decision to dump Kady McDermott and Ouzy See in favour of controversial Ella Barnes and Mitchel Taylor.
