LOVE Island producers have stepped in to soothe the fury between Ella Thomas and Whitney Brown by forcing them to have a day out together.
In tonight’s episode, the feuding friends were ordered to get ready for peace talks after they fell out on last night’s episode.
Whitney and Ella leave the villa to put their argument behind them
Whitney told the Scottish model, who is coupled with Tyrique: “I have never met a selfish person like you.”
Blanching at her words, Ella replies: “That is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.”
However, Whitney scolds her, saying: “You know I only tell the truth.”
Stunned by her remark, Ella tells her: “You actually think you’re family the way you speak to me and it’s not okay.”
The row appears to have stemmed from earlier in the day when Ella tried to use the shower when she knew Whitney had been waiting.
Later in the evening, Ella tries to patch things up with Whitney by pulling her for a chat.
She tells her: “I want to get this off my chest because I don’t want to give it energy, but it actually upset me when you called me selfish in the dressing room.
“It really upset me because I wouldn’t speak to my friend like that. I feel like that was coming for my character.”
Clearly unfazed, Whitney doubled down on her comment, replying: “I wasn’t joking Ella. Sometimes you do have selfish tendencies.”
In tonight’s show the girls are encouraged to talk their argument out.
Zach receives a text which reads: “Ella and Whitney. It’s time for you to head out for a one-to-one, please get ready to leave the Villa. #NothingLeftUnsaid #ItsGivingHarmony.”
However, the conversation doesn’t go particularly well.
Ella says: “I feel like yesterday when I came to talk to you I was a bit hurt. I just wanted to explain that to you and for us to resolve it. But I felt like there were more things coming out from your side.”
Whitney says: “If I could sit here and tell you that you’re not selfish, I would.”
Ella says: “Let’s be real, this is all because of the challenge.”
Whitney says: “This is why I say we’re not friends because if you think I’m the kind of girl that is going to use a challenge to talk to you to direct, wrong girl. If I’ve got something to say, I will tell you – I don’t need a challenge to sugarcoat things like yourself.”
Whitney later adds: “If I didn’t think it was true, I would take it back but Ella you are the most selfish person I’ve ever met in my life, it’s true.”
