In scenes set to air tonight, Amber tells Tyrique that football is a big part of her family and they are big Chelsea FC supporters.
Questioning why Amber is a Chelsea fan, she says: “My dad played for Chelsea.”
Clearly impressed, Tyrique asks: “Really? Who is he?”
Amber replies: “Dennis Wise…”
Looking very excited: “Your dad’s Dennis Wise? Is he actually? That’s sick…I can see the resemblance. He’s not bad looking though, he’s a good looking geezer! You’re pretty as well…”
Just moments before Tyrique had admitted he was the only lad who was fully close off in the villa, but will Amber be able to turn his head?
HOAR first revealed that Amber, 19, was entering the villa last week and she arrived during last night’s episode.
Tough-nut Dennis, 56, who was part of the Crazy Gang Wimbledon team in the 1980s, is no stranger to reality TV after his stint on I’m A Celebrity in 2017.
In 1990 he joined Chelsea for a club record £1.6m, and went on to make 332 appearances and score 52 times for the Blues.
After three years at Chelsea he was appointed captain.
Ahead of joining Love Island for its Casa Amor section, Amber said: “I’m very independent. I’ve never needed a guy, now it’s more that I want one. I’m creative, very flirty.”
But while Amber has set her sights on Tyrique, 24 — but love cheat Mitchel Taylor, 26, named her as his target.
