Olivia Bowen, former Love Island winner and now interior designer, has been criticized by fans for a "dangerous" detail in her son Abel's bedroom.

Olivia's nursery transformation

Olivia Bowen, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2016, has been revamping her Essex mansion and recently revealed her one-year-old son's newly transformed nursery.

Fans spot safety concern

However, fans quickly noticed a potential safety hazard in Abel's room. The toddler bed is placed against the wall, which some followers claim can be dangerous for children.

Mum-shaming on social media

Olivia had previously assured her Instagram followers that she had purchased "side guards" for the bed. But some fans took to her home renovation account to express their concerns and share tragic stories of children getting trapped between the bed and the wall.

Defending Olivia

While some fans criticized Olivia for the bed placement, others came to her defense, stating that there is no "correct" way to position the bed and that any arrangement can pose risks.

A passion for interior design

Olivia revealed that she studied interior design during lockdown and has found a new passion for it. She enjoys renovating properties and considers it a part of her life that she loves.

Olivia and her husband Alex, who got married in 2018, welcomed their son Abel in June 2022.
