A LOVE Island contestant has revealed he’s got hitched four years after starring on the ITV2 series.

Welshman Callum Macleod failed to find love in the iconic villa – after being the first 2019 singleton to be given the boot.

Yet the aircraft engineer from South Wales has now found his lasting love.

The Love Island alumni took to his Instagram page to post a snapshot showing him looking dapper in a suit as he posed next to his stunning bride Jade.

Callum beamed at the camera as he wrapped his arm around her waist, with Jade gazing adoringly at her groom.

In his caption, he wrote: “Tied the knot… 16.06.23.”

Fellow Welsh Love Island star Rosie Williams was quick to write: “Congratulations you beautiful pair.”

Love Island alumni Lucie Donlan added: “Omg amazing so happy for you both!” while Yewande Biala wrote: “Congratulations to you both!”

The pair tied the knot in the stunning surroundings of Llanerch Vineyard.

The pair have been documenting their wedding journey on their home Instagram page, as well as showcasing the pad they moved in to last year.

Last year, we reported how the cute couple had got engaged.

The TV star got down on one knee on a cliff top and filmed their special moment.

At the time of entering the villa, Callum described himself as fun, loyal, spontaneous and someone that is big on cleaning.

When asked to rate his looks out of ten, he said: “I’m a 6.2. When I’ve got a tan it jumps up to a 6.8, sometimes a 7.

“So, hopefully in the villa I’ll be bouncing up to the 7. I blossomed as I got older.

“I’m hoping it is still rising but it plateaued a bit recently.

“I would say my best feature is my tan – give me an hour and I am golden.”

Meanwhile, Callum quit his high-flying job as an aircraft engineer for his place on the popular ITV2 reality show.

In an interview he told HOAR: “I had to hand my notice in. I’ve got my trade and my apprenticeship so I would apply elsewhere.

“It was a really hard decision but you only get one life.”
