Luca Bish, who rose to fame on the hit reality TV show Love Island, has recently shared a selfie on Instagram showcasing his skin condition that he kept hidden during his time on the show. The 24-year-old fishmonger posed for the picture, proudly displaying his tinea versicolor.

Unveiling His Condition

Luca Bish, a participant on Love Island in 2022, chose not to reveal his skin condition while on the show. However, he recently posted a photo on Instagram showing his tinea versicolor, also known as pityriasis versicolor, which is a fungal skin infection. Some of Luca's followers were surprised to see this side of him, as they had never seen the condition before.

Talking About Tinea Versicolor

One of Luca's fans noticed similar "white spots" on their chest and was curious about the condition. Luca's mother, Maria, was quick to respond, explaining that it is called tinea versicolor and can be treated with certain anti-dandruff shampoos or, in severe cases, with prescribed tablets from a GP. She reassured everyone that the condition is common and not serious, and that Luca has been receiving treatment for it.

Maria expressed her pride in Luca for overcoming his self-consciousness and sharing a picture of himself with the condition, emphasizing that there is nothing to be ashamed of.

A Glimpse into Luca’s Future

Recently, Luca dropped a hint that he might be participating in the Love Island Games, a spin-off of the show filmed in Fiji. After appearing on Celebrity MasterChef, Luca posted a picture on his Instagram from Fiji, saying "Fiji's unbelievable" – suggesting a possible romantic adventure on the horizon for the reality star.

Luca and his Love Island partner Gemma Owen ended their relationship in November 2022.
