LOVE Island star Samie Elishi has bravely revealed her surgery scar after having a lump removed from her throat.
This week she shared a snap from her hospital bed shortly after her Hemithyroidectomy operation.

Samie decided to get a lump in her throat checked after fans spotted it during her Love Island stint
The Love Island favourite, 23, previously revealed she’d undergone tests to determine if the lump in her throat is cancerous.
Samie was rushed to hospital earlier this week for her her surgery.
Now she has taken to her Instagram page to show she’s on the road to recovery with a stunning selfie.
The Londoner posed in a nude vest top that flattered her tan.
She styled her brunette locks into a relaxed straight style and opted for natural make-up bar thick mascara.
Samie’s scar could be seen across her throat but appeared to be healing well.
She posted a lengthy caption about her procedure, which finished with the phrase: “My neck is currently still healing and this first picture was taken today after I removed the bandage but I couldn’t be happier with how neat it is.”
She also revealed she should get the test results determining if her lump is cancerous in a “the next two weeks.”
Her Love Island co-star and BFF Claudia Fogarty was quick to write: “Love you so proud of you.”
Samie’s former Love Island boyfriend Tom Clare added a red love heart.
Meanwhile Love Island alumni Demi Jones, who herself had a similar procedure after being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, added: “Proud of you!! You’ve got this my girl.”
As well as the lump, Samie also told this week how she’d need to have half of her thyroid removed.
Following the surgery she took to Instagram to update fans.
Alongside the snap of her in a hospital bed, she wrote: “Surgery complete guys!
“I feel absolutely fine, no drainage was needed or anything. I’m very lucky.
“I’m now on rest duty but will be vlogging the recovery. Every day I receive soo many supportive messages from you guys.
“Me raising awareness has lead to some of you having this surgery and getting lumps in your necks checked. If I can help one person that’s enough.”
Samie’s health concerns were discovered after Love Island viewers pointed out her lump.
The former estate agent co-ordinator decided to go get it checked and has had ongoing tests.
Samie placed third on the hit-ITV dating programme with Tom Clare, 23, behind winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins.
