Sandy Cheeks from Spongebob Squarepants is Mitch’s celebrity crush
The gas engineer said that he fancies Sandy Cheeks – the underwater squirrel from Spongebob Squarepants.
Mitch was joined by Ella, who said she fancied Shark Tale’s Oscar the fish – who was modeled on Will Smith.
Inspired by fictional crushes, Kady said that she fancied the blue Navi species on Avatar.
Leah’s celebrity crush was Gary Barlow and Whitney has a thing for Tony Goldwyn’s character in Scandal – President Fitzgerald Grant III.
Twitter instantly reacted to the unusual selection, with one posting a photo of Sandy in a bikini, writing: “Don’t let Mitch see this”.
Another commented:Â “Ella saying her celebrity crush is Oscar from Shark Tale, she’s crazy”.Â
“Kady was so read for saying the Navi from Avatar“, chimed a third, while a fourth joked: “Gary Barlow just got a mention on Love Island as a secret crush!!!! Hands off girls!!!!”.
This comes after Molly Marsh makes a return to the show’s highly anticipated Casa Amor.
ITV confirmed that the rumours were true and the actress will be back on the show tonight.
Molly is already filming in the Majorcan villa.
A source said: “It’s going to be absolutely explosive television. The islanders have no idea and this is the first time the show has pulled a twist like this.
“After Zachariah moved on so quickly following her departure by flirting with both Kady and Whitney, this is Molly’s time for payback. The fallout from this is going to be massive.”
The 21-year-old musical theatre performer was sent home in a shock eviction last week after Kady made a bombshell return to the villa.
After just a few hours in there, Kady was told to choose a guy to couple up with and picked Zachariah.
This left Molly single, but in a shocking twist, she was sent packing straight away.
Fans were left reeling as Molly had been considered a show favourite, leading to a flurry of speculation she would make a top-secret return at the Casa Amor stage.
While Molly did return to the UK and appeared on Aftersun on Sunday with Maya Jama, she was then seen in Ibiza earlier this week.
Her return to Spain only added to the whispers she was set to make a bombshell reappearance on the show.
Molly insisted to HOAR that she was in Ibiza for work.
She told us: “I’m really happy to be getting back to work.
“I’m doing quite an exciting project, it’s an exciting shoot which I can’t say too much about. It’s just great to be doing stuff again and so quickly, I feel like the turnaround to doing work again has been so quick but that’s what I wanted.
