LOVE Island winners Jess Harding and Sammy Root appeared distant just a week after the final, as they spent an awkward lunch date on their phones.
The couple, who won over the hearts of the nation during this year’s summer series, looked rather bored while grabbing lunch in London.

Having spent 24 hours in each other’s company for weeks on end, it looks as though they’ve run out of conversation points.
During a sit-down meal at Italian restaurant Harry’s Bar, Jess and Sammy, both 22, were enamoured by their screens – just days after putting on a much cosier display for the Reunion special.
They arrived at the swanky Marylebone establishment by foot, where they were spotted by fans asking for a picture.
Jess and Sammy were more than happy to pose for a quick snap.
The pair recently revealed exactly how they plan on enjoying their £50,000 cash prize, after winning the ITV2 show.
Sharing the news with OK! Magazine, the couple said they intend to splash the cash on spoiling their parents and buying them something nice.
The Kent-based lad said that the pair’s relationship has grown since making their romance official.
“Since me and Jess have become boyfriend and girlfriend, the trust is just there,” he said.
“From that moment, we haven’t given each other any reason not to trust each other.
“We’re both happy we had a major roller-coaster and a lot of tests because it does prepare you for the outside world.
“It wasn’t easy, we made mistakes, but now we 100 per cent trust each other.”
The duo are now looking forward to a bright future, saying marriage is on the cards.
“I never ask someone to be my girlfriend if I didn’t see myself marrying them,” Sammy told the publication.
“I agree,” Jess said. “There’s no point thinking you’re going to be with someone for a short time.”
