LOVE Island’s Maura Higgins wowed fans with a chic hair transformation – before revealing that her new fringe is FAKE.
The 29-year-old star looked sensational as she debuted her new look while out for dinner with Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, but all was not as it seemed.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Irish beauty shared a snap of herself flashing her abs with the new hairdo.
She’s styled her brunette locks into a sleek bun, with a fringe and loose strands delicately framing her face.
Maura is wearing attention-grabbing eyeliner and large hoop earrings, with her toned stomach on display in a cropped sports’ top and leggings.
She addressed her casual clothes and glam hair and make-up in the post’s caption, writing: “When you’ve got dinner at 6, gym at 10 
“I’ll be showing you all how I created this makeup look tomorrow on my story’s @inglotuk @inglotireland #ad”.
But fans were more distracted by her hair, with one writing: “Loving the hair” and a heart eye emoji.
Another commented: “A fringe really suits you!”
A third said: “You suit the fringe gurl
”.
Maura then shared the post to her Instagram Story, where she made the revelation that her fringe was completely fake.
Alongside a poll, she wrote: “Who would like a tutorial on how I created this fake fringe look?”
Maura shot to fame on last summer’s series of Love Island, where she reached the final with ex Curtis Pritchard.
She has remained close friends with Molly and Tommy, recently enjoying a luxury Greek holiday with them and another pal.
