MEGAN Barton-Hanson has revealed that she wished she had dated a woman ‘sooner’ in a candid new interview about her sexuality.
The Love Island star, 26, is currently dating girlfriend Chelcee Grimes and explained that she felt “more comfortable” in a same-sex relationship.

Speaking to the Mirror, the ITV2 darling shared: “I wish I had a relationship with a woman sooner – it’s the best thing I did.
“It’s hard to describe but it’s so different with a girl than it is with a guy.
Adding: “When I started dating women I thought ‘this is actually me’ and I felt much more comfortable and close than I have done with any guy.”
Megan, who is also attracted to men, added that she hoped that discussing her sexuality will encourage more women to “talk freely and openly about sex and their sexuality.”
Megan and Chelcee have forgiven one another following their split in October, after discovering they were both messaging the same woman.
The couple rekindled their romance in November of last year after splitting the month before.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Megan was dating Chelcee following her rocky romance with Towie’s Demi Sims.
But the pair hit the rocks when Chelcee, who has written songs for Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue, decided to set aside their relationship and concentrate on her song writing.

It was later revealed that the pair had both been messaging the same woman, Teddy Edwardes, behind each other’s back.
Events promoter Teddy tweeted about the tricky situation, although she didn’t name the two women.
She asked her followers: “I’ve got a girl and her girlfriend in my DM’s but neither of them know the other is doing it. When do I break the news or do I carry on and mind my business? .”
But the break didn’t wasn’t final and it wasn’t long until they were back in each other’s arms.
Speaking about their romance Megan to Metro: “It is definitely different [dating girls to guys].
“My whole life I’ve never really had a relationship with girls, like I said on Celebs Go Dating. And I’ve had, sexual experiences with girls and I’ve had one night stands with girls, but I feel like this is actually me.
“I’ve never felt so comfortable in my life, I feel like I’m finally where I should be. I’ve never felt as comfortable with someone.”
