MEGAN Barton Hanson has revealed that her ex Wes Nelson also slept with two people during his time on Love Island.
The 27-year-old shot to fame on the 2018 installment of the popular dating series where she fell for Wes, 23, while dating Eyal Booker.
Reflecting on her Love Island stint, the TV star said she was a victim of slut-shamming and revealed that Wes also slept with two people on the ITV2 stalwart but never faced any backlash.
Speaking on the Exactly. With Florence Given podcast, Megan admitted she was left upset in interviews when Wes failed to stand up for her and her experiences on the show.
She said: “It was hard because Wes, the guy I was with on the show, would sit next to me on interviews and listen…
“… But would never once pipe up and be like, ‘Well I slept with two people on that show. Just one of those didn’t come to light’.
“It’s just so backwards that men can still in this day and age do whatever they want and are patted on the back for it but for a woman it’s so shameful.
“People still can’t get their heads around women liking sex.”
Before coupling up with Megan, Wes dated Scottish air hostess Laura Anderson, who is now happily going out with Dane Bowers.
In January 2019, HOAR exclusively revealed that the pair split over Wes’ relationship with his Dancing on Ice partner Vanessa Bauer.
A source told us at the time: “It’s all about Vanessa. She can’t get over her jealousy and doesn’t trust her.
“Their friends are hopeful that when Dancing On Ice is over they can sort their differences out and Megan will trust that Wes wants to be with her and nobody else.
“He’s been staying in a hotel the past few weeks and not commuting home after DOI to escape the arguments. They’ve been privately rowing nonstop over Vanessa.”
Following their break-up, Wes went on to date fellow Love Island star Arabella Chi.
He is now said to be dating the daughter of a millionaire tobacco tycoon, swimwear model Lucciana Benyon, 20.  Â
Meanwhile, bi-sexual Megan has enjoyed several romances since their split dating Chelcee Grimes, Demi Sims, and Towie’s James Locke.
