CANNY football star Dennis Wise has signed his Love Island daughter Amber up to Gemma Owen’s showbiz agents.

Amber, 19, joined the ITV2 dating show last night, following in the footsteps of ex-England ace Michael Owen’s girl.

The family hopes engaging the right representation means graphic design student Amber can emulate Gemma’s commercial success since she finished second last year.

Chelsea legend Dennis, 56, who was also part of the Crazy Gang Wimbledon team in the 1980s, is clued up on reality TV after his stint on I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! in 2017.

A source said: “Amber may only be 19 but she’s got her head screwed on — so Dennis and her mum Claire were fully supportive of her joining the show.

“But they know what fame can be like so have helped Amber sign up with [the] Off Limits [agency] to look after her career.

“They know she’ll be in good hands as the agency has done such a brilliant job with Gemma.

“They helped her secure massive brand deals but, just as importantly, helped to look after the rumour mill surrounding her split with Love Island boyfriend Luca.”

Since last summer, dressage rider Gemma is thought to have made well over £1 million through clothes and jewellery endorsements.

Ahead of joining Love Island for its Casa Amor section, Amber said: “I’m very independent, I’ve never needed a guy, now it’s more that I want one.

“I’m creative, very flirty.”

Amber has set her sights on semi-pro footballer Tyrique Hyde, 24 — but love cheat Mitchel Taylor, 26, named her as his target.
